Artist's Comments
On the way home she invented a scenario where the trees were alive. We had to be very quiet when walking under them, because if we were too loud we would wake them up and they would attack us. It reminded me a bit of The Happening, but she's never seen that. I messed with her a little bit, coughing and sneezing, but for the most part we whispered our way home. Towards the end she must have been getting bored because she threw a rock at the tree. She told me that sends it into a deep sleep along with all the trees around it, so we were able to talk in normal voices the rest of the way.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
